Let my heart weep between your closed hands

Let my heart weep between your closed hands
The colourless sky slowly fades
The flower of your clear eyes in appeasement
Brings down on my heart their enchanted corollas.

How your knees are to me a pacific bed,
Clothed by your gaze, I would be warm for the night
And your breath magical watchman will dispel
All that sullies and all that jeers and all that hurts.

The harbour, the fields are black; after the mocking day
The consoling night comes from moist tears
And melting to sweetness the dissipated mist
The flames of your desire blaze in my heart.
