Letter to Reynaldo Hahn, 18 January 1895 : "... I shall try to meet you at Mlle Lemaire's at about six. She has writtten to say that my poems (to you) were good. I replied that one is always inspired when speaking of what one loves. The truth is that one should never speak of anything else. These poems are the only ones of mine that you would give me pleasure by showing around and reciting as much as possible. In the Catholic liturgy, you see, real presence signifies ideal presence. - No I haven't got that quite right..."

It is not clear which poems Proust is referring to or whether they have been published elsewhere.
