   would be very happy if Monsieur Saens would deign to cast his eyes over these few lines, and not reject them by virtue of the axiom that all writers are incapable of talking about music and accept the homage of a respectful and passionate admirer, all the more so under the charm of a certain visit paid by M. Saint-Saens to Dieppe at Madame Lemaire's.
